HUNTER PACES

The Monmouth County Hunt offers six Hunter Paces a year.  Three in the Spring, and three in the Fall.  This is a great way to come ride our beautiful hunt country.

We host an exciting Tailgating Contest each fall where riders and non-riders can participate in complete with prizes.

  • 2019 Spring Hunter Pace dates are 4/7, 5/5 and 6/9

  • 2019 Fall Hunter Pace dates are 9/8, 10/13 and 11/3.

  • Hunter Paces begin at 9am, and the last riders must be out by 12:30pm.

We are very fortunate to have a relationship with the Jockey Club's Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.) and are able to give out T.I.P. ribbons and series ends awards.  The Monmouth County Hunt's staff horses are primarily off track thoroughbreds and promoting their retraining into a new discipline they excel at is something we feel very strongly about.

To be eligible for T.I.P. awards at the Hunter Paces, all thoroughbreds must register and have a T.I.P. number.
